The “Sodhari Samajam” is the Women Ministry wing of the India Pentecostal Church of God, and Marthandam District’s Sodhari Samajam intends to construct the women of the Churches to be resembling the women of the Bible who searched for Jesus in the tombs with the spices they had prepared early in the morning on the first day of the week; like the women who waited for the arrival of the bridegroom with the oil for their lamps; like Mary who chose the good portion; like the women who adorned themselves with a gentle and quiet spirit which is the unfading beauty of inner self; and like the virtuous women who built their homes. The Sodhari Samajam is responsible for forming Prayer groups for women, monthly group visiting to churches for organizing meetings, conducting Women Conference, and gatherings that would enrich, empower and encourage the women of the Church. The Sodhari Samajam of Marthandam District is well run by the Sodhari Samajam Council.
