Sunday School is one of the most powerful tool for a church to affirm the Word of God as the foundation of the Christian life. This is where we teach the importance of the Bible to toddlers, children, youth and adults, and train them in the Christian living. As the children are heritage from the LORD, the primary purpose of Marthandam District’s Sunday School Association is to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus by teaching the scripture, making them disciples and leading Children to the fellowship with Jesus Christ. The SSA Council of the IPC Marthandam District organizes and implements Christian education to the children of the Church through the local church Sunday Schools, camps, VBS, and through many other means; also conducting Sunday School teachers’ training workshops, seminars, and conferences for enhancing them to prepare the children to be obedient and greater blessings to the family, Church, and the nation.
